Konstadinos "Dino" Karalis, August 8, 1934 – May 11, 2020
Dino was born in Vassara, Greece, he's the son of Peter and Christofile Karalis. He was one of eight children. He migrated to America in 1966 with his loving wife Ioanna to begin their new life together. Dino was an entrepreneur at heart; they emerged themselves into the pizza/restaurant/real estate business throughout their 54 years while raising a family. He was a proud father of 3 children, Peter Karalis, Christofile Tsiantoulas and Eleni McGrail and was a welcoming father-in-law to James Tsiantoulas and Michael McGrail. He leaves behind 7 grandchildren: Dean Karalis, Adrianna Karalis, Elias Tsiantoulas, Kostas Tsiantoulas, Nikos Tsiantoulas, Anastassia McGrail and Michael McGrail. Dino was an amazing husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend.
Dino Karalis was not just an ordinary individual; he was extraordinary on many levels to many people. Although his life was full of headwinds from losing his father at a very young age, fleeing Greece alone as a teenager to find a more promising life and ultimately struggling for the last 20 years with an incurable disease, he made the best of the years God gave him.
His drive and passion for life was immeasurable. Dino was a kind, generous, selfless, humble person that wanted the best for not only his family but for others. He left a legacy…his willingness to help others, his drive to inspire greatness, his motivation to instill family values and cultural importance. He will be remembered as a legend and a hero, nothing less!
Dino will be missed by all, though, our memories are eternal. We will make him proud and continue his legacy and love for life.
As a result of the current health crisis in our world today and our love for our family and friends, funeral services and burial will be private. If you would like to live stream the service on Friday please visit the link below
