Keriaki "Kitsa" (Mentesidis) Amarantidis, 88, of Arlington, MA  passed away on November 22, 2023.  Born in Kozani, Greece. Beloved wife of Ioannis Amarantidis.  Devoted mother of Nopi Arvanitis and her husband John and Themis Amarantidis and his wife Vivi. Loving yiayia of Maria Arvanitis, Kiki Amarantidis, George Arvanitis, and Stavrina Amarantidis. Sister of the late Anastasios Mentesidis, the late Vasilios Mentesidis, the late Sophia Tsakelidou, the late Panagiotis Mentesidis and the late Georgios Mentesidis. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends here and in Greece. She was the greatest cook; her spanakopites and tsourekia will always be unmatched. She told the best bedtime stories, that her grandchildren begged to hear over and over again. Her laugh was the cutest, as were her jokes. She had so much love to give to everyone around her, and touched so many people. Funeral services on Tuesday, November 28th at 11:00 am at St. John the Baptist Greek Orthodox Church, 15 Union Park St., Boston, MA  . Visitation will be held in the church prior to the funeral service from 10-11:00 AM. Burial in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Arlington, MA. In lieu of flowers donations in her memory may be made to the above named church.
