Katherine (Chrones) Zevitas, of Belmont, Massachusetts, passed away on January 21, 2020.  Beloved wife of the late George Zevitas. Devoted mother of Joanne Harris and her husband Evan, and Stephen Zevitas and his wife Paula.  Loving yiayia of John Anthony Zevitas and his wife Stephanie, Christopher Harris, Michael Zevitas and his wife Ashby, and William Harris.  Loving great yiayia of Pelagia Zevitas.  Sister of the late Steve Chrones, and the late Christina Capernaros.  Sister-in-law of Dorothea Zevitas, Philip Capernaros, and Nicholas Zevitas and his wife Jennie. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.  Funeral from Short, Williamson & Diamond Funeral Home, 52 Trapelo Road, Belmont, MA  02478 on Monday, January 27, 2020 at 9AM followed by Services in St. Athanasius The Great Greek Orthodox Church, 4 Appleton Street, Arlington, MA at 10AM.  Visiting hours on Sunday, January 26, 2020 at the Short, Williamson & Diamond Funeral Home from 2PM to 5PM. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend.  In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the above named church.  Interment in Mt. Auburn Cemetery.
