John P. Varsamis, 87, of Belmont, Massachusetts, passed away on May 9, 2022. Born in Vasara, Spartis, Greece. Beloved husband of Niki (Papoulias) Varsamis. Devoted father of Amy Pappo and her husband Carl, and Peter Varsamis and his wife Haroula.  Papou of John Pappo, Jake Pappo, Victoria Varsamis and Irene Varsamis. Brother of George Varsamis and his wife Mary, and the late Fred Varsamis and his late wife Christine

Also survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Funeral Service on Thursday, May 12, 2022 at Taxiarchae Greek Orthodox Church, 25 Bigelow Avenue, Watertown, Massachusetts at 11:30AM.  Visitation prior to the funeral from 9:30AM to 11:30AM at the church. Relatives and friends are kindly invited at attend. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to the above named church. Burial in Newton Cemetery, Newton, Massachusetts.
