John C. Ramos, of Dorchester, MA, passed away unexpectedly on May 18, 2014. Beloved husband of Eleni (Giannou) Ramos. Devoted father of Vasiliki Tsichlis and her husband Sotiris and Kalliope Ramos and her fiancé Dimitris Kipreos. Loving grandfather of Manolis and Yiannis Tsichlis. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends here and in Greece. Funeral Service on Saturday, May 24, 2014 at 10am at St. Catherine Greek Orthodox Church, 119 Common St. ,Braintree, MA. Visiting hours on Friday from 4 to 8pm at the church. In lieu of flowers donations in his memory may be made to the Hellenic Children's Cardiac Fund, c/o Children's Hospital, 200 Longwood Ave., Boston, MA or to the above named church. Burial in Gardens at Gethsemane Cemetery, West Roxbury, MA. Late President of Federation of Hellenic American Societies of New England.
