John Peter Kotarides, 98, of Boston, Massachusetts, passed away peacefully, on April 26, 2021 surrounded by his beloved daughter Athena and his grandson Yianni. He was originally from Norfolk, Virginia, returning to Tripoli Greece at a very young age eventually he returned to USA as a trailblazer in his own right. Son of the late Paraskevas and Athena (Kopellos) Kotarides. John k was a force to be reckoned with a protector and provider and patriach- a man of a pure heart and clean hands knowing the power of forgiveness - whatever he put his hands to he did it with all his strength and might he completely gave of himself - his very presence made everything better- he lived a rich life having the best life had to offer sharing it with all that surrounded him - John k was a man of faith believing in the power God his beautiful legacy will live forever - may his name be written in the book of life and meet in paradise.  Beloved husband of Emma D. (Fitzpatrick) Kotarides. Devoted father of Athena Lisa Peter Kotarides and Marilyn Rowell.  Cherished papou of Yianni Kotarides, Clarence Rowell, and Tikia Debnam. Brother of the late Arthur Kotarides, the late Christos Kotarides, Nicholas Kotarides, and the late Georgia Stathopoulos.  Also survived by many nieces,  nephews, relatives and friends.  Due to the current pandemic and the families care and concern for family and friends, the funeral service and burial will be private.
