John Kokovidis, of Allston, Mass.,  passed away suddenly on January 9, 2021. Born in Sochi, Russia. Beloved husband of Sofia (Statharos) Kokovidis. Devoted father of Helen Papachristos and her husband Christos, Irene Viron and her husband John, Elias Kokovidis and his wife Claudia,
and Magdaline Kokovidis. Loving grandfather of Rothama, Sofia, Nikos, Georgios, Stavros, Andreas and Alexander. Great grandfather of Sofia. Brother of Konstandinos Kokovidis and his wife Katina, and the late Sofia Kazangoglou. Also survived by many relatives and friends here and in Greece. Visitation on Thursday, January 14, 2021 at Sts. Constantine and Helen Greek Church, 14 Magazine St., Cambridge, MA from 9:30AM to 10:30AM.  Due to the current health crisis and our care and concern for family and friends, the  funeral service will be Private. Donations in his memory may be made to the above named church. Burial in The Gardens Cemetery, West Roxbury, MA
