Doctor John (Coulopoulos) Coules , 92, of Belmont, Mass., passed away on October 9, 2015. Beloved husband of late Katie (Tsotopoulos) Coules. Son of the late Peter J. and Eugenia Coulopoulos.Devoted father of Renee Giannakopoulos and her husband Ilias, Peter J. Coules and his wife Donna, and Jeannie Coules. Loving grandfather of Eliza and George Giannakopoulos, Alexandra, Katie Renee and Joe Coules. Great grandfather of Anthony Coules. Sister of Constance Kantianis and Anastasia Smerlas. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Graduate of Boston Latin. Late veteran U.S. Army/ Airforce WWII as a chief engineer of B17 station Texas. PH.D in Psychology at Boston University class of 1953. John worked in the field of research psychology for many government agencies and private firms. In addition he was a professor at UNH, Tufts and Boston University. Late member of American Legion #324, AHEPA #406, Mason Mass lodge of MA and Shriners International. Funeral Service on Saturday, October 17. 2015 at Taxiarchae Greek Orthodox Church, 25 Bigelow Ave., Watertown, Mass. at 10AM. Please go directly to church. Visiting hours on Friday, October 16, 2015 at the Faggas Funeral Home, 551 Mt. Auburn St., Watertown, MA 02472 from 4 to 8PM. Relatives and friends kindly invited to attend.
