JoAnn Grisham Heroux,46, died on August 19, 2004 at Massachusetts General Hospital after living with cancer since 1988. She was born in Waco, Texas and raised in Sumter,SC. She moved to Boston in 1986 after receiving her undergraduate degrees in Architecture from Clemson University. In 1997 She received a Masters of Business Administration from Simmons College in Boston. She was married in 1990 to James Heroux. She has one daughter, Amelia Heroux. She has lived in the South End of Boston since 1987. She helped plan many activities involving the neighborhood chilren as well as at the Josiah Quincy Schoool where her daughter attends. She also shared her love of adventure,travel and horses with her husband Jim and daughter,Amelia. She is also survived by her parents, Leonard and Janis Grisham of Beaufort, SC, her siblings, Milton Grisham of Roswell, GA and Angela May Grisham of Port Royal, SC and many nieces,nephews,loving friends and co-workers. A memorial service will be held at the Old South Church, Boylston St., Boston on August 28th at 3:30pm. In lieu of flowers donations in her memory may be sent to the Josiah Quincy School Association, 885 Washington St., Boston, MA 02111.
