Jeffrey James Deveau, 62, of Watertown, MA formerly of Weymouth, MA passed away on August 6, 2023 after a valiant battle with Glioblastoma. He was born in Quincy, MA to Charles and Phylis (Williams) Deveau. He attended St. Jerome School in Weymouth and graduated from Weymouth High School. He worked at Stop & Shop Grocery Store in Watertown, MA for 40 years as a Produce Manager and Shop Steward for the company.
When he was not working, he loved spending time with his family and friends. He was a Master Chef and known as "Jeff The Chef" for his grilling skills. He enjoyed fishing, boating, and was an avid Boston Sports Fan. He was a member of the Mass Rifle Association in Woburn, MA.
He was predeceased by his parents.
He is survived by his wife and best friend Lisa Marie (McCool) Deveau. Devoted father of Kristin Deveau and her partner Cory Young. Loving brother of Charles Deveau and his wife Jacquelyn, Lee Deveau and his wife Janice, David Deveau and his wife Deborah, Daniel Deveau and his wife Mary, Donna Webb and her husband James, Karen Jacobs and her husband Jordan, Lynn Deveau, and William Phinney and his wife Patricia. Loving Son in law of Helen McCool and the late Hugh McCool. Loving brother in law of Richard McCool and his wife Janet, Peter McCool, Michael McCool and his wife Mary, and the late Thomas McCool. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives and close, lifelong friends. He will be truly missed.
Services will take place at the Faggas Funeral Home, 551 Mt. Auburn Street, Watertown, MA on Tuesday, August 15, 2023 at 12:30PM. Visitation from 11:00AM to 12:30PM at the funeral home. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. In lieu of flowers donations in his memory may be made to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 1640, Haggerstown, Maryland 21741. Burial will be private.
