James K. Vlachos, of Roslindale, Mass., passed away on February 13,2021. Beloved husband of Patricia (Geracoulis) Vlachos. Devoted father of Michael Vlachos and his wife Shelley, James, T. Vlachos, and Andrew J. Vlachos and his wife Ana.  Loving grandfather of Mark Vlachos, Stephanos Vlachos, Michael Vlachos, and Ariana Vlachos. He was predeceased by his parents,  Theodore and Minnie Johanna (Smith) Vlachos, and his siblings,  Theodore, George, Richard, Robert, Charles, and Edward Vlachos. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.  Late employee Boston University.  Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, February 17, 2021 at St. Mark of Ephesus Orthodox Cathedral, 340 Clapboardtree Street, Westwood, Mass.  02090.  Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 16, 2021 from 6PM to 8PM at the church.  Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend.  Due to the current pandemic, CDC guidelines will be followed for the visitation and funeral service.  Masks are required as well as social distancing.  In lieu of flowers, donations in James' memory may be made to the above named church.  Burial immediately following funeral service at the Gardens Cemetery, 670 Baker Street, West Roxbury, Mass.
