James Charles Tsacoyeanes, of Watertown, Massachusetts passed away on Sunday, October 20, 2013. He resided in Watertown for most of his 80 years. He was the son of Charles and Lambrini Tsacoyeanes. He served in the U.S. Army from 1953 to 1955, including one year of service with the Corp of Engineers in Korea. He attended Boston University, receiving a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering in 1959. Mr. Tsacoyeanes' professional career has spanned over thirty-nine years, first with the Curtiss-Wright Corporation of New Jersey (1959-1960) and subsequently enjoying a thirty year career with Teledyne Engineering Services, an engineering consulting firm located in the greater Boston area. With Teledyne, Mr. Tsacoyaneas provided consulting services in the design and construction of pressurized equipment, to designers, owners and operators of electric power plants, petroleum refineries and manufacturing facilities and for insurers and regulator of these industries. He also participated in a related lecture series throughout the United States, Western Europe and Japan. He is a life member of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) and has service on National ASME consensus and committees responsible for the development and publication of Codes and Standards for design and construction of pressurized equipment. He is a Registered Professional Engineer in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Mr Tsacoyeanes has been a life member of the Greek Orthodox Church Taxiarchae of the Archangels in Watertown, Massachusetts and he has served on the church council as a member, assistant treasurer and treasurer. He sang in the choir of his beloved parish for over 40 years. He is the husband of the former Hope Mourousas of Watertown, a 1958 graduate of Harvard-Radcliffe College. Mrs. Tsocoyeanes is a former Executive Vice President of the Watertown Chamber of Commerce and a former Vice President of the Massachusetts Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives. They are active participants in local educational, political and community. Mr. and Mrs. Tsacoyeanes are the parents of Leah Price, Andrea Beaudry and her husband Andrew amd Stephanie Phillips and husband John. Grandparents of Rebecca and Alison Price, Erica and Sabrina Beaudry and Alexandra and Sydney Phillips. He was a late member of the US Army and served during the Korean War.
