James Georgian Jr. passed away on April 15, 2026 after a long illness at Mary Ann Morse Nursing Center in Natick, MA. James was born in Newton, MA, graduated Newton High School n 1963 where he excelled in indoor and outdoor track. During his college years at University of Mass, Amherst, the family moved to Watertown. After graduation, he continued his studies and received a master's degree in mathematics at Tufts University; he taught math for several years at Medfield Middle School. Later, he went back to school and received a degree in Pharmacy at Mass College of Pharmacy and worked at several hospital in Boston including Franciscan Children's Hospital. He enjoyed many years as a member at the Newton YMCA where he formed lifelong friendships. He enjoyed traveling domestically and internationally.

James is survived by his sister Sophia Paraskos, brother-in-law Dr. John Paraskos of Dover, MA, their sons Alex Paraskos (Alex's daughers Georgia and Elaina) and Greg Paraskos and his wife Shannon and their daughter Hazel, sister-in-law Mary Georgian, and many nieces and nephews. Deceased family members are his father James Georgian Sr. and mother Katherine Georgian, brother John Georgian, his brother Ted Georgian of , Olympia Pangakis (Husband Andrew), Heidi Athans (Husband Dr. John Athans).

 Funeral Service will be held on Monday, April 27, 2026 at 11AM at the Taxiarchae Greek Orthodox Church, 25 Bigelow Ave., Watertown, MA. Visitation prior to the Service from 10AM to 11AM at the church. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend.
