James Floudaras, of Belmont, MA, June 24, 2012. Beloved husband of Paula (Iatropoulos) Floudaras. Born to Helen and Louis Floudaras in Manchester, NH on October 1, 1922. Mr. Floudaras was the cherished father of Pamela J. Bakos and her husband John and loving grandfather of Miranda Bakos of Prides Crossing, MA. Brother of Lena Hollis and the late Grace Yanakopoulos, Kelly Kyriakou, George Floudaras, John Floudaras, and Alexander Floudaras. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. A World War II veteran, Mr. Floudaras served in the United States Navy from 1940 to 1946, primarily on the USS Essex and USS Enterprise. At the time of his retirement in 1980, he was District Director, Mail Processing, with the United States Postal Service. Funeral from the Faggas Funeral Home, 551 Mt. Auburn St., Watertown, MA on Thursday, June 28, 2012 at 10 AM, followed by Services in the Greek Orthodox Church Taxiarchae, 25 Bigelow Ave., Watertown, MA at 11AM. Visiting hours on Wednesday, June 27, 2012 from 5 to 8 PM at the funeral home. Donations in Mr. Floudaras' honor may be made to the Taxiarchae church.
