James  L. Agelopoulos MSW, 96, of West Yarmouth, MA, passed away on June 8, 2023. Beloved husband of the late Jennie (Costandelos) Agelopoulos. Devoted father of  Dean Agelopoulos. He was predeceased by his sisters, Margaret Catalano and Mary Finitis.  James was aN instructor at Boston College school of Social Work and the Director of substance abuse at Polaroid corporation.  He enjoyed cooking and traveling . He was an avid Red Sox Fan. He also enjoyed discussing politics with his friends.  He was a devout Orthodox Christian and he loved his church.  He will be sadly missed.  Funeral Service on Thursday, June 15th, 2023 at St. George Greek Orthodox Church, 1130 Falmouth Road, Centerville, MA  at 10:30AM.  Visitation prior to the Service from 9:30AM to 10:30AM at the church. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend.  In lieu of flowers donations in his memory may be made to the St. George Greek Orthodox Church.  Burial in North Purchase Cemetery, Atteboro, MA.  Late Veteran US Navy.
