PROVAS, IRENE of West Yarmouth, formerly of Watertown,, Died February 18, 2016 after a long battle with Parkinson's Disease. Beloved daughter of the late George and Sultana (Kapetanelis) Provas. Devoted sister of John Provas and his late wife Mary of Georgetown, sister of Mary Tsoukalas and her husband Petros of West Yarmouth, and Sister of the late Costa Provas of Watertown. Loving Aunt of Kathy and George Poulopoulos of Boxford, James Tsoukalas of Watertown, George and Renee Tsoukalas of Windham, NH, and Stephanie and Christopher Erb of Boxford. Also Survived by many great-nieces and great-nephews, relatives and friends.Funeral on Monday , February 22, 2016 in the Taxiarchae Greek Orthodox Church at 11 am. Visitation one hour prior to the service from 10-11 am in church. Burial in Ridgelawn Cemetery, Watertown. Donations made to the Taxiarchae Church or the Parkinson's foundation in lieu of flowers.
