Iphigenia "Genie" (Loomis) Fillios, 97, of Lexington, Mass., passed away on Friday, April 24, 2020. Beloved wife of 65 years of the late Louis Charles Fillios. Devoted mother of Penny Billings and her husband Tom, Dede Downey and her husband Brian and Hilary Grant and her husband Ross. Loving grandmother of Jamie Billings, Alex Downey, and Samantha Grant.  Loving sister of the late Elaine Zagarella, and the late George Loomis.  Also survived by many relatives and friends.  Genie was a long time member of the Lexington Garden Club and a welcome wagon hostess for the Town of Lexington. A former children's librarian with the Boston Public Library, she loved spending time with her family and grandchildren, and gardening was her passion. As a result of the ongoing health crisis in the world and with genuine concern for the people whom they love, funeral services and burial will be private.  In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the American Heart Association.
