Hugh Richard "Richie" McCool of Woburn, MA formally of Watertown, passed away on October 18, 2022, at the age of 82, with his family by his side. He was the son of the late Hugh J. and Virginia M. (Lopez) McCool. He is survived by his beloved partner Katherine Vartanian of Woburn; his children, Richard H. McCool and his wife Janet, Peter J. McCool, Michael T. McCool and his wife Mary, Lisa M. (McCool) Deveau and her husband Jeffrey. Brother of Barbara McCool, Mary C. Gullotti and her husband William, Michael F. McCool and his wife Kathy. He was predeceased by siblings Thomas M. McCool and Virginia M. McCool and his son Thomas R. McCool.   Grandfather of 7 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.  Hugh was a retired truck driver and member of the Teamsters union. Hugh loved motorcycles, cars and most of all his dog Buddy.  Hugh requested that there be no formal services, his family will honor him with a celebration if his life. Please celebrate and remember him in your own way.
