Haido
Bratsis
April 5, 1945 – June 23, 2025
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Haido Bratsis, who passed away peacefully on June 23, 2025, after a short but courageous battle with breast cancer. Haido was born on April 5, 1945, in Athens, Greece.
Haido was the beloved wife of the late Evangelos Bratsis. She was a devoted mother to her three children: Angel and her husband Michael Landy; Katherine and her husband Chris Seremetis; and Niko and his wife Loukia. Haido was also a cherished grandmother to Andrea, Nicole, and Michael Jr. (children of Angel and Michael); Demetri and Christina (children of Katherine and Chris); and Haido, Vangeli, and Alexi (children of Niko and Loukia).
She is also survived by her loving brother, Kosta Divris, and his wife Pam. Haido was a dear aunt to Nia and her husband Ralph Bruno, and their son CK, and Andrew. Haido was the daughter of the late Andrew Divris, originally from Northern Epirus, and Katherine Limniotakis, from Krasi, Crete.
Prior to her retirement, Haido had a distinguished career as the Vice President of Contracts for Boston Financial and Equity. More than anything else, Haido cherished the lively atmosphere of being surrounded by her family. She delighted in hosting family holidays and orchestrating memorable, often epic, game nights that were always competitive and full of laughter. It's worth noting that Haido remains undefeated at Scrabble. Her warmth, humor, and love of family created countless treasured moments for all who knew her.
