Georgios I.Triantafyllou,89,of Brookline, MA passed away on June 4, 2025.

Born in Skyros, Greece. Son of the late Ioannis and Kalliope Triantafyllou.

Georgios came to United States in 1970 and he and his beautiful bride Pamela Triantafyllou made their home in Brookline, MA where they raised their daughter Karla.

He worked at the same service station along side his brother in-law for 30 years. When he wasn't working, he would spend his time with his family and his garden. He loved spending time in his garden and cultivated the most beautiful flowers and delicious vegetables. Anyone who knew him knows he was generous to a fault. He always had a warm welcoming smile and a little mischief in his eye. His home was always open to family, friends and neighbors and you never left empty handed.

One of his biggest accomplishment besides his daughter Karla were his two granddaughters, Thea and Paige. He spent as much time as he could with his granddaughters.  They were truly the light of his life.  He enjoyed watching Greek Television and listening to Greek Music. In 2012 his beloved wife Pamela passed away unexpectedly. They were married 41 years. He was a devout Orthodox Christian and loved his beloved St. Nectarios Church.  May his memory be eternal.

Devoted father of Karla Chronopoulos and her husband Dennis.  Loving Papou of Thea Chronopoulos and Paige Chronopoulos.  Brother of Anna Avgoustis and her late husband George and the late Efrosini Nikitas and her late husband George.  Brother in law of Voula Kilakou and the late Irene Tzamaklis and her late husband Petros, the late Maria Stratis and her late husband George, the late Vasilios Spirounis and his late wife Katherine, and the late Veneta Spirounis.

His funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 10, 2025 at St. Nectarios Greek Orthodox Church, 39 Belgrade Avenue, Roslindale at 11AM. Visitation prior to the Service from 10AM to 11AM at the church. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend.  In lieu of flowers donations in his memory may be made to the above named church.
