Georgia Stathopoulos, 95, of West Roxbury, Massachusetts passed away on July 15, 2014 at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, Needham, Massachusetts. She was born in Norfolk, Virginia on July 18, 1918. Daughter of the late Paraskeva and Athena (Kotarides) Stathopoulos. Beloved wife of the alte Speros Stathopoulos. Devoted mother of Maria Deamantopoulos and her husband Christos, George Stathopoulos and his wife Vasilia and Peter Stathopoulos. Mother in law of Diane Stathopoulos. Loving Yiayia of Spiros and his wife Barbara, Giorgios, Stephen, Christina, Maria, Georgia, P.J., Christopher, Nicholas, Jenna, Speros and Gerard. Also survived by 7 Great Grandchildren. Sister of Nikos Kotaridis and Yiannis Kotaridis Also survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Funeral Service on Monday, July 21, 2014 at 10am at St. Nectarios Greek Orthodox Church, 39 Belgrade Ave., Roslindale, MA . Visiting hours on Sunday from 4 to 8pm at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers donations in her memory may be made to the above named church. Burial in Gardens at Gethsemane Cemetery.
