Georgia (Papoulias) Karellas, of Belmont, Mass., passed away on October 10, 2016. Beloved wife of the late Kostas Karellas. Devoted Mother of Nicholas Karellas, Martha Vastis and her husband Nicholas, and Eleni Kantzioris and her husband Kosta. Sister of Mary Stavropoulos, Nikki Varsamis and her husband John, and the late Christos Papoulias, and the late Demosthenis Papoulias. Sister in law of Rhoe Papoulias and Loula Papoulias. Also survived by 11 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends here and in Greece. Visiting hours will be held on Sunday, October 16, 2016 from 4PM to 7PM at the funeral home with a Trisiagon Service to be held during the visiting hours. Funeral Service and burial will take place in Theologos, Sparti, Greece. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the Taxiarchae Greek Orthodox Church, 25 Bigelow Ave., Watertown, MA 02472.
