Georgia (Flessas) Haramis, 99, of Brookline, Massachusetts passed away on February 22, 2025. Beloved wife of the late Emmanouel J. Haramis, and daughter of the late Theodore and Bertha (Parthena) Flessas.  She is survived by her devoted son Theodore S. Mavrikos and his wife Cheryl. Cherished sister of the late William T. Flessas and the Irene Ravanis.  Sister-in-law of the late Penelope Flessas.  She is also survived by many nieces and nephews and three godchildren.

She was a graduate 1944 graduate of Girls High School in Boston.  She had a long career for 40 years with John Hancock Insurance Company. When she was able, she loved to volunteer.  She was an active member for a long time with the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church and a past President of the Ladies of Philoptochos Society.  She was a life Trustee of the Hellenic Women's Benevolent Association of the Hellenic Nursing and Rehabilitation Home in Canton and a past Matron of the OES.

Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, February 26, 2025 at the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Cathedral of  New England, 514 Parker Street, Boston, MA at 11AM.  Visitation from 10:00AM to 11AM at the Church.  Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend.  In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the above named church or to Hellenic Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, 601 Sherman Street, Canton, MA.  Burial immediately following at Walnut Hill Cemetery, Brookline, MA. For those meeting at the cemetery, please go to the Allandale Road entrance between by 12:15PM and wait for the procession to arrive.
