George James Velkos of Saugus passed away on July 22, 2022. Beloved husband of Ekaterini" Kathy" (Baki) Velkos. Loving father of Mary Ali & her husband Tarek and Evvie Makkis. Loving papou of the late EJ Whalen. Brother in law of Niki Petropoulos,Fune Linardakis, Joanna Vasilopolou & her husband Triantifilios and Helen Papadopoulos. Also survived by many nieces and nephews in Montreal, Canada and Greece. Funeral services on Wednesday, July 27, 2022 at 11:00 am in the Sts. Constantine & Helen Greek Orthodox Church, 14 Magazine St., Cambridge, MA. Visitation will be held in church prior to the funeral services from 9-11 AM. Burial in Cambridge Cemetery. Donations in his memory may be made to the above-named church.
