George Stasinopoulos, 53, of Attleboro, died unexpectedly on November 8th.  George was a true individual with a gentle soul who held firm to his beliefs.  He enjoyed a good meal, great conversation, and above all, spending time with his beloved pet Kitty.  George was born in Greece on January 30, 1966, the only beloved son of the late Konstantinos Stasinopoulos and the late Sofia (Sonia) Stasinopoulos.  He came to the United States in 1984, attending Northern Essex Community College, graduating from Salem State College in 1988, and continuing on to obtain his MBA from Suffolk University in 1990.  George became a citizen of the United States in 1997.  He spent many years working at Fidelity Investments at the Rhode Island and Texas offices and was most recently employed with D.S.T. Systems in Quincy, MA.  George was the nephew of Steve Feizidis & his late wife Chris Feizidis of Middleton, the late Elissavet (Feizidis) Giakoumidis & her husband Elias Giakoumidis of Stoneham, and George Feizidis & his wife Maria of Wilmington.  George is also survived by many cousins and their families.

Family and friends are asked to gather at the Annunciation of the Virgin Mary Greek Orthodox Church on 70 Montvale Avenue, Woburn, MA on Monday, November 18th at 10:00 am, where there will be a viewing followed by a funeral service at 11:00 am. The burial will take place immediately afterwards at Woodbrook Cemetery in Woburn, MA.  In lieu of flowers, donations in George's memory may be made to the Friends of the Attleboro Animal Shelter at Friends of the Attleboro Animal Shelter, PO Box 592, Attleboro, MA 02703.
