George Koufos/Koufopoulos, of Northridge , CA formerly of Brighton/Belmont,MA, passed away on November 24, 2013 after a brief illness. Beloved husband of the late Jeannette(Cormier)Koufos. Devoted father of James G. Koufos and his wife Lali. Loving grandfather of Hannah Koufos. Devoted brother of Catherine Panos, Christine K. DiFillippo. He was predeceased by his siblings, Helen Adamakis, Penelope Lazarides, Albina Russell, Catherine Anastos, Annie Tsoukalas and Athena (Edna) Arno, Philip Koufos, Theodore Adamakis, Angelo Koufos and Teddy Koufos. Also survived by many nieces,nephews, Relatives and friends. Late Veteran US Army. Late member St. Nicholas Church, Ahepa #406, Greek Political Club and the Arcadian Society. His funeral service will be held at St. Nicholas Church, Northridge, CA at 10am on Tuesday, December 3, 2013.
