George C. Kacos of Beverly, MA, formerly of Belmont, MA and E. Falmouth, MA, passed
away on December 16, 2021 peacefully in his home. He was the beloved husband of the late Frances (Andrews) Kacos with whom he shared 53 years of marriage.

Born in Somerville, MA to the late Constantinos Kacoyanis and his wife Despina.  George is a late Veteran of the United States Army.

The majority of George's employment was spent as the Head Custodian at Belmont High School.

George had many hobbies throughout the years.  He enjoyed boating, fishing and digging for quahogs in Cape Cod.  George loved playing solitaire, and the occasional trip to the casino.  Most importantly, George loved spending quality time with his family whenever possible.

George was a devoted husband and father, a loving brother, grandfather and great grandfather.  He is survived by his sons Dean Kacos and his wife Barbara, Michael Kacos, and daughter Andrea Kallas and her late husband Harry, his grandchildren Heather Castro and her husband Jon, Samantha Kacos, Peter Kallas and his fiancé Selena, George Kallas, Aliki Kallas and Great Grandson Jackson Castro, his sister Mary Argys and her husband Chris, and brother to the late Nicholas Kacoyanis and his wife Nancy. George is also survived by many relatives and friends.

A funeral service for George will be held on Tuesday, December 21, 2021 at Taxiarchae Greek Orthodox Church, 25 Bigelow Ave., Watertown, MA at 11:30AM. Visitation prior to the Service will be held from 10AM to 11:30AM at the church. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to the above named church. The burial will be held at the Belmont Cemetery.
