George Ernest Anthony born in Boston, Mass on July 15, 1939 passed away at home in Laconia, NH on September 13, 2007 due to multiple health complications. Beloved husband of Delores (Athanasiou)Anthony. Devoted father of Denise Anthony, Adrienne Anthony, George Anthony & his wife Elaine and Damon Anthony & his wife Julie. Loving grandfather of Abigail Anthony. He is also survived by his siblings Philip Anthony & his wife Patricia, Mary Sculos & her husband Peter, Alex Anthony & his wife Margaret and the late Katherine. He was predeceased by his parents Ernest and Olympia(Burgess) Anthony.
He was a business entrepreneur starting Anthony's Studio of Photography i Brighton, MA. He moved his family to Laconia, NH in 1976 and became a restauranteur in 1978 with the purchase of Pizza By Paras. In 1982 he built Lakes Region Bowling Center of Gilford, NH. He was a dedicated member of PPANE and served on the board of directors on both Sts. Constantine and Helen Greek Orthodox Church of Cambridge, MA and Taxiarchae Greek Orthodox Church of Laconia, NH.
