Fotis Chronis, 98, of Roslindale, Massachusetts passed away on October 16, 2022.  Born January 6, 1924 in Nymfasia, Greece.  Cherished husband of the late Asimo (Kouros).  Loving father of Antonia Chronis & her husband Bill Jennings and the late Konstantinos Hronopoulos. Brother of Theodore Chronopoulos,Simeon Chronopoulos and his wife Katie, John Chronopoulos and his wife Emily, Chronis Chronopoulos, and the late Maria & Konstantinos Babiles, the late Bessie Chronopoulos, the late Eleanor Chronopoulos.  Also survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends here and in Greece.

In the 1950s, Fotis left war ravaged Greece to come to the United States.  On a trip to Montreal, he met his future wife, Asimo, with whom he was instantly smitten.  Fotis & Asimo owned and operated the West Roxbury Spa while raising their two children.  Fotis was a prolific poet and storyteller who wrote about his beloved "horio" and satirized everyone from political figures to dialysis staff.  He was an avid gardener and a skilled woodworker.  He loved his native Nymfasia and the company of his family and friends.

Funeral Service on Wednesday, October 19, 2022 at St. Nectarios Greek Orthodox Church, 39 Belgrade Avenue, Roslindale, MA at 11AM.  Visitation prior to the Service from 10AM to 11AM at the church. Relatives and friends kindly invited to attend.  In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to The Wonder Fund of Massachusetts (WonderfundMA.org).  Burial in The Gardens Cemetery, West Roxbury, Massachusetts.
