Florence ''Flo'' Elizabeth (Brown)Betts, 88, of Cambridge, passsed away on July 30, 2007. She was born on February 25, 1919 in Boston, Massachuetts. She was the daughter of the late Herman and Susan (Davis)Brown. She moved to Cambridge as a young child and attended the Roberts Grammar School and Cambridge High and Latin School. Shortly after graduating high school she married Gardiner Betts. When her children were grown, she worked at Corcoran's Department store in Cambridge as well as for NECCO's Candy Company in Cambridge.
She loved to bowl, play board games and picnicing at the ''Maggs''.
During her stay at the Emerson Nursing Home, her Sunday enjoyment was playing Bingo.
She is survived by her husband of 68 years, Gardiner Bett, her children, ''Gardy'', Lorraine, Carla, Nanette and the late Clayton Betts as well as three generations of grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends.
