Evanggelia (Giannaros) Chakalis , of Newton, Mass., passed away on February 6, 2017. Beloved wife of George Chakalis. Devoted mother of John Chakalis and his wife Alexandra and beloved daughter Katerina Chakalis who predeceased her in 2015. Loving grandmother of Eva, George and Kostas Chakalis. Sister of Dimitrios Giannaros and his wife Liza, Nikos Giannaros and his wife Samira, Sophia Darras and her husband Dr. Basil Darras, and Maria Gainnaros. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives and beloved friends. Funeral Service on Friday. Feb. 10, 2017 at Taxiarchae Greek Church, 25 Bigelow Ave.,Watertown, MA at 1:00 PM . Visiting hours on Wed., Feb. 8, 2017 at the church from 4PM to 8PM .
