Evangelos B."Gally" Nichols of Allston born August 12, 1926 in Somerville, Massachusetts. He passed away peacefully on November 30, 2018. Beloved father of William Nichols, Anne Nichols, Christina Nichols and Nicholas Nichols. Cherished grandfather of 7 grandchildren. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Son of the late Vasilios & Vasiliki Nikolakopoulos. He was predeceased by his brothers Nicholas & Costas Nichols. Evangelos was predeceased by his companion Anne Marshall. Evangelos was the Co-Founder of Electronic Fasteners, Inc. and the late proprietor of the Rosebud Diner. He was was a WWII US Army veteran. Visitation on Tuesday, Dec. 4,2018 from 4 - 8 pm in the Faggas Funeral Home, 551 Mt. Auburn St., Watertown, MA . Funeral services on Wednesday, Dec. 5, 2018 at 10:00 am in the Taxiarchae Greek Orthodox Church, 25 Bigelow Ave., Watertown, MA, a brief visitation will be held from 9 - 10 am in church prior to the services. Burial in Forest Hills Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations in his memory may be made to the Hellenic Nursing Home, 601 Sherman St., Canton, MA 02021.
