Eleanor Katherine "Ellie" Thomas, age 85, of Cambridge, MA passed away on Tuesday, the sixteenth of February 2021 while visiting with her family in Ocean Isle Beach, NC.

Eleanor aka "The Queen" as she was affectionately known was born in Boston, MA on the twenty sixth of September 1935 to the late, Walter John and Elizabeth Yunghans Francis. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph F. Thomas, Jr., and two sons, John and James Thomas. Ellie was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.

Surviving are her children, Renee' Nagle and husband Rick of Plymouth, MA, Joseph F. Thomas, III and wife Cindy of Cape Coral, FL, Paula Webster and companion David Ainsworth of Ocean Isle Beach, NC; eleven grandchildren; twenty-two great-grandchildren whom she absolutely adored and a dear friend of Nick Kokkinis of Watertown, MA. Memorial services will be private.
