Efthimia "Effie" (Kalaitzidis) Papadopoulos, 78, of Arlington, Massachusetts passed away peacefully after a courageous battle with cancer.  Beloved wife of the late Stergios Papadopuolos. Devoted mother of Thomas Papadopoulos and Chris Papadopoulos.  Loving sister of Stratos Kalaitzidis and the late James Kalaitzidis.  Also survived by many relatives and friends.  Effie was a devout Greek Orthodox Christian and was a large part of the Sts. Constantine and Helen Greek Orthodox Church Family.  She enjoyed spending time with her children and preparing delicious Greek dishes for her family and friends.  She will be sadly missed.  Due to the current health crisis in our world today, and the families care and concern for family and friends, A private funeral service and burial will be held on Monday, March 1, 2021. There will be a brief, public visitation from 10AM to 11AM at Sts. Constantine and Helen Greek Orthodox Church, 14 Magazine Street, Cambridge, MA.Relatives and friends may attend visitation.
