Of West Roxbury, MA, Efimia Skordas passed away on January 26, 2024.  She was born on May 10, 1938, in the quiet village of Agia Eirini, Kefalonia.

Her journey took her to Montreal in her twenties, where she discovered an exciting new life.

On September 27, 1964, she married John Skordas, and together they raised their three children: Freda, Peter, and Jerry.

After years of joy in Montreal, QC, and Cape Cod, MA, the family later settled in Braintree, MA.

Efimia was a symbol of nurturing and timeless grace, embodying the values that make a family strong.

Her wisdom and nurturing spirit left an impressionable mark on her children and grandchildren.

Survived by Freda, Peter, and Jerry, along with son-in-law Andreas Zahopoulos and grandchildren Vikendios Zahopoulos, Victoria Zahopoulos, Yianni Skordas, and Ethan Skordas.

Her keen intelligence, wise insights, and strong character were the pillars of her influence.

Efimia's memory lives on in the simple moments of love and laughter, forever etched in the hearts of those who were touched by her warmth and kindness.

Funeral Service on Monday, January 29, 2024 at St. Catherine Greek Orthodox Church, 119 Common Street, Braintree, MA at 11AM. Visitation prior to the Service from 9:30AM to 11:00AM at the church. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the above named church.  Burial in Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree, MA.
