Dr. Edna C.A. Butaney  of  Newton, passed away  unexpectedly on September 4, 2024. Beloved wife of Hiro T. Butaney. Loving mother of Krishna A. Butaney & her husband Costa  Zahos.  Sister of Ester Panis, Narcisa Angeles, Gloriosa Fenol & her husband Reynaldo, Luzviminda Perjes & her husband Manuel  and the late Aris, Fortunato and Remigio Angeles. Loving Lola of Dina and Elias Zahos.  A funeral mass will be held on Saturday, September  7th at 10:30 AM, Sacred Heart Parish, 1317 Centre St, Newton, MA 02459 . A brief visitation will be held in the church prior to the funeral Mass  from 9:30- 10:30. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers donations in her memory may be made to Iskwelahang  Pilipino , 12 Mudge Way, Bedford, MA  01730.
