Diane M. Nilan, 65, of Watertown, Massachusetts passed away peacefully on April 24, 2023 surrounded by her loving family.  Daughter of the late Richard and Marie (Danici) Taylor. Diane was born in Boston, Massachusetts.  She is survived by her loving son, Richard Daly and his girlfriend Annika. Loving sister of Linda Shields and her husband Danny, John Forte, Edward Nilan and his wife Susan, Mark Nilan and his wife Lisa, and Marie Oakley. Cherished aunt of Danny Shields, Linda Forman and her husband Gary, John Shields and his wife Michelle, Jake Shields and his wife Ally, Brigitte Lencke and her husband Ryan, Victoria Kane and her husband Alex, Mark Nilan II, Marisa Nilan, Michael Nilan, Jenna Webb and her husband Jack, and Olivia Oakley. Great aunt of Morgan Lencke, John Shields, Mikey Shields, Jadeyn Shields, Grace Webb, and A.J. Webb. Great great aunt of James Shields. Also survived by many relatives and friends.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, May 1, 2023 at 10AM at St. Patrick's Church, 212 Main Street, Watertown, Massachusetts. Visiting hours on Sunday, April 30, 2023 from 1PM to 4PM at the Faggas Funeral Home. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend.  Burial in Ridgelawn Cemetery, Watertown, Massachusetts.
