Despina (Stogiannis) Gounaris, of West Roxbury, Mass. passed away on November 18, 2025. Beloved wife of the late TakisGounaris. Devoted sister of the late Demitris Stogiannis, the late Olga Papathanasiou, the late Pandora Politis, and the late Evodoxia Michalakis.  She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends here and in Greece.

Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, November 25, 2025 at St. John The Baptist Greek Orthodox Church, 15 Union Park Street, Boston, MA 10:00AM. Visitation prior to the Service from 9:00AM to 10:00AM at the church. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend.  In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the above named church.  Burial in St. Joseph Cemetery, West Roxbury, Mass.
