Successful restaurateur and member of the Masonic Order. Beloved husband of Mary (Contos) Kanellias. Devoted father of Michael Kanellias and his wife Maria, and Peter Kanellias and his wife Pamela. Loving grandfather of Ellen and Demetrios Kanellias, Marianne and Dimitri Kanellias. Brother of Thimios Kanellias and Katerina Koumoutses, and the late Asimina Kalliavas, Nikolaos, Martha Athanasouli, Sophia Papadakos, and Anastasios. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Funeral from the Faggas Funeral Home, 551 Mt. Auburn St., on Tuesday at 10am followed by Services in the Greek Orthodox Church Taxiarchae, 25 Bigelow Ave., Watertown, MA at 11 am. Visiting hours on Monday from 4 to 8pm. Interment Newton Cemetery. Donations in his memory to the above named church or to the Salvation Army.
