Demetra (Tolios) Zacharakis of Burlington, MA was reunited in the Lord with her adored late husband Panagioti on December 24, 2021. She passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by family at the age of 80. Devoted wife of the late Panagioti (Peter) Zacharakis. Loving mother of George Zacharakis & his wife Heather, Annette Tsitsopoulos & her husband Apostolos and Steve Zacharakis. Adored Yiayia of George, Demi tria (Demi) , Panagiota ( Paige ) and Nathan iel . Cherished s ister of Polixeni Loukeris & her husband Alekos . Beloved sister - in - law to the late Gregory Zacharakis & his wife Nafsika, Christina Karalis & her husband Anargiros, Paraskevi Xintaropoulos & her husband Nicholas, Kanela Koutroubis & her husband the late Rev. Fr. Stavros Koutroubis and Efstatheia Tsoubanas. Also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends both here and in Greece, Canada and Australia. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday December 29, 2021 at the St. Athanasius the Great Greek Church, 4 Appleton St., Arlington , MA at 11 am. Visitation will be held in the church prior to the funeral services from 9:30- 11AM. Burial to follow in Pine Haven Cemetery, Burlington, MA. In lieu of flowers donations in her memory may be made to the St. Athanasios the Great Greek Orthodox Church Iconography Fund.
