Daniel Lambrinos, 85, of Arlington, MA passed away on May 2, 2024. Born in Kalamata, Greece.  He came to United States when he was 8 and settled in Cambridge until he married and moved to Watertown , MA.  In 1975, he moved to Arlington and planted permanent roots.  He went to cosmetology school and was a great hairdresser.  He was also an umpire and referee for 50 plus years.  After retirement, he worked at Market Basket in Burlington, MA. He always made everyone smile as he bagged their groceries.  He will be sadly missed.

Beloved father to Laina S. Matthews and her husband John R., Daniel T. Lambrinos and his partner Ann Morriarty, and Scott J. Lambrinos and his wife Erin McCarthy-Lambrinos. Loving grandfather of Kaylee, Taylor L. and her wife Milan, and  Cameron D. Lambrinos. Loving brother of Frederika Speros, Anastacia Trikolidis and the late Maria Papatsoris and the late Peter Lambrinos. Brother in law of Anastasios Papatsoris, Evangelia Lambrinos and the late Panagiotis Trikolidis and the late James Speros. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Funeral Service on Wednesday, May 8, 2024 at Taxiarchae Greek Orthodox Church, 25 Bigelow Avenue, Watertown, MA  at 10AM.  Visitation on Tuesday, May 7, 2024 at the Faggas Funeral Home, 551 Mt. Auburn St., Watertown, MA from 5PM to 8PM. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to the above named church. Burial in Mt.
