Clementine Marie Spinella Funeral Services for Clementine Marie Spinella will be on Friday, December 9, 2011, at 9:00 a.m. at Bigelow Chapel, Mount Auburn Cemetery, Cambridge MA, followed by internment. Mrs. Spinella passed peacefully on her birthday, Saturday, December 3, 2011, in Virginia, at the age of 94. Clementine Marie, the daughter of Pelegrino and FilomenaColantuoni, was born December 3, 1917, in East Cambridge, MA, and graduated from Belmont High School, class of 1935. Clementine Marie was a real estate agent for James BremisRealty in the 1960s and 1970s, retiring as an assistant librarian from Tufts Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy in 1980. After retirement, Marie served as a volunteer for the Plymouth Senior Community. Marie was known as an excellent ballroom dancer and was a member of the Plymouth Senior Center Line Dancing community. Marie also enjoyed her tenure cooking, demonstrating, and serving up cranberry delights to visitors at Cranberry World's test kitchen. Mrs. Spinella is survived by her husband of 31 years, Joseph Spinella of Plymouth, MA. The Spinellas resided in Pinehurst Village. Clementine was predeceased by Alfred Basteri, the father of her three children. She was the devoted mother of Hope (Lucille) Moore of Encinitas, CA, Lorraine Jaeger of Springfield, VA, and James Basteri of Tulsa, OK. Clementine Marie was a loving nana to her seven grandchildren, Michael Moore, Melissa Moore Mitchell, David Basteri, Cheryl Jaeger, Kimberly Jaeger, Alicia Basteri, and Ryan Basteri, and two great-grandchildren, Chloe Basteri and Miles Basteri. Clementine has been a dear mother-in-law to Louis Jaeger and is beloved by the Colantuoni, Basteri, and Spinella families and her friends across many states. All will deeply miss her presence.
