Dr. Christos Gregoriades,of Canton, MA passed away on January 27, 2014 surrounded by his family. He was 74 years old. Born in Patras, Greece, he attended the University of Athens Medical School and pursued his post-graduate studies in urology at the Boston University Medical School and residency at the Lahey Clinic, Boston, MA. As a board-certified urologist, Dr. Gregoriades went into private practice in Fall River, MA and was affiliated with St. Anne's Hospital and Charleton Memorial Hospital. He is survived by his beloved wife, Marianthi, daughter, Krysla, son, Emmanuel, and grandchildren, Christos, Loukas and Evan. He is also survived by his brother, Konstantinos and sister, Eleni, and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends here and in Greece. He served the Greek Orthodox Community for many years as an Archon of the Patriarche and with his unforgettable voice, as a Byzantine chanter at many local churches, most recently the Annunciation Cathedral of Boston. Visiting hours will be held from 5-8pm, on Thursday, January 30, 2014 at the Cathedral Chapel, 162 Goddard Ave., Brookline, MA. The funeral service will be held on Friday, January 31, 2014 at 11am at the Annunciation Cathedral of Boston, Parker and Ruggles Sts., Boston, MA, with a brief visitation prior to the service, from 10-11am. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to the Annunciation Cathedral of Boston. Burial gardens at Gethsemane, West Roxbury, MA.
