Christopher Kougeas, of Newton, Mass., passed away on Jan. 7, 2017. Beloved husband of the late Pauline (Simpkins) Kougeas. Devoted father of Christine English of Roslindale, Paula Kougeas and her husband Philip Crowley of Alexandria, Virginia, and Cynthia Kougeas of Newton. Loving grandfather of Mary and Christopher Crowley. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Veteran, US Army having served in WWII European theater. Longtime member of Carmen's Union Local 589. Funeral from the Faggas Funeral Home, 551 Mt. Auburn St., Watertown, MA on Wed., Jan. 11, 20167 at 8:30AM followed by Services at the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Cathedral, Parker and Ruggles Sts., Boston, MA at 10AM. Visiting hours on Tuesday, at the funeral home from 4PM to 8PM. Relatives and friends kindly invited to attend.
