Christopher Jason Diozzi, of Belmont, Mass., passed away on August 28, 2016 . Beloved son of Thomas and Stavroula (Stefanou) Diozzi. Devoted brother of Matthew Diozzi, and Andrew Diozzi. Loving nephew of Angie Stefanou, William Kane and the late Anna Kane. Loving cousin of Stephanie Kane and Stacey Kane. Also survived by many relatives and friends. A graduate of Belmont High School where he was the Captain of the Football and Hockey teams. He went on to Deerfield Academy before attending Trinity College in Hartford, CT. At Trinity he was Co-Captain of the Varsity Hockey team and helped lead them to a NESCAC championship. Chris then went on to have a very successful career at John Hancock and then most recently Ned Davis Research. He lived in the North End of Boston, loved to play golf, was an avid fisherman, and spent his weekends on Cape Cod. His loyalty and love for his family and friends was evident in the way he carried himself and cared for others. His outgoing personality and smile was contagious, that could light up any room he was in. He was loved by many and will be missed by all. Funeral on Saturday, September 3, 2016 at 10AM at the Taxiarchae Greek Orthodox Church, 25 Bigelow Avenue, Watertown, Mass. Visiting hours on Friday from 4 PM to 8 PM at the funeral home. Relatives and friends kindly invited to attend. Auburn Cemetery, Cambridge, Mass.
