Christine (Ballou) Avtges of Belmont, Mass., passed away on July 21, 2016. Beloved wife of James A. Avtges. Devoted mother of Dr. Alan Avtges, Susan Kayeum and her husband Thor, and Anne Hincks and her husband John. Loving sister of Betty Harovas and her husband Arthur. Also survived by 5 grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Funeral Service on Saturday, July 23, 2016 at 10am at the Taxiarchae Greek Orthodox, 25 Bigelow Ave., Watertown, MA. Visitation prior to the Service at church from 8:30AM to 10AM. Relatives and friends kindly invited to attend. Please omit flowers. Donations in her memory may be made to the above named church. Interment in Mt. Auburn Cemetery.
