Chris Ellen (Laurits) Kochansky, 69, of Cambridge, Massachusetts, passed away on March 18, 2016. Beloved wife of the late Gerald Kochansky. Devoted mother of Peter N. Kochansky and his wife Lauren Dias, and Laura J. Kochansky and her partner Joni Pidcock. Loving grandmother of Oscar, Milo, Linus and Scarlett Kochansky. Devoted sister of David Laurits and his wife Katherine Martin. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, April 2, 2016 at 10am at Storey Chapel located in the Mt. Auburn Cemetery, 580 Mt. Auburn Street, Cambridge, Mass. Relatives and friends kindly invited to attend. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the Southern Poverty Law Center. Burial will take place in Mt. Auburn Cemetery.
