Charles J. Smerlas, of Belmont, Mass., passed away on Nov. 12, 2015. Beloved husband of Tasa (Coulopoulos) Smerlas. Devoted father of Daphne Smerlas and John Smerlas. Loving brother of Antonia Lakis and the late Lambert Smerlas. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. A celebration of life will be held on Friday, Nov. 20, 2015 at Story Chapel in the Mt. Auburn Cemetery, 580 Mt. Auburn St., Cambridge, MA from 10:30AM to 12:30PM, with a prayer Service at 11:30AM. Relatives and friends kindly invited to attend. Interment immediately following.
