Charles “Dino” Janetakos passed away on March 10. He was the beloved husband of Corinne Janetakos (née DiVasta) and a devoted father to Michael Aris Janetakos of Reading and Amanda Fotini Janetakos of Norton, Massachusetts.
Dino was the cherished brother of Pauline Hatzikostantis of Arlington. He was a loving husband, father, brother, uncle, and friend who placed family above all else. Dino worked hard throughout his life and proudly owned and operated his painting contracting business, Quality Painting by Dino.
Family meant everything to Dino. He made sure his loved ones always had what they needed and created many lasting memories together, especially during family vacations. He loved the beach and the ocean and enjoyed taking cruises whenever he could. Dino was an avid gamer. He also enjoyed watching historical dramas and action-packed films and TV series.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend services on March 18 at the Taxiarchae/Archangels Greek Orthodox Church located at 25 Bigelow Ave in Watertown. A closed casket viewing will be held at 10:00 a.m., followed by a funeral service at 11:00 a.m. Burial at Mount Auburn Cemetery. Guests are welcome to return to the church afterward for a luncheon and to share memories with the family.
In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the Institute of Multiple Myeloma with Charles ‘Dino’ Janetakos as an honoree: https://www.myeloma.org/donate
