Obituary

Charles K. Avery, of Watertown, February 21, 2006 after a long battle with Parkinson's Disease. Son of the late John and Argero(Androulis) Avergerinos. He was born in Lowell, Mass. His is survived by his loving wife Stasia (Zevitas)Avery. He was the devoted father of Angelica ''Lee'' Christo and Jan Siannis and her husband Athanasios. Loving Grandfather of Maria,Stacey and Spero. He was a teacher/department head for Boston Public Schools for 26 years. He was the founder of the Shaw Preparatory School and Center for English as a second language. He was a member of the Greek Orthodox Church Taxiarchae and served on the Board for many years. He founded the greek youth group at the church. He also served as chairman of the finance committee for Watertown. He was a late Veteran of WWII.
Charlie was a loving,compassionate,kind,thoughtful,empathetic,sympathetic,unselfish, considerate, generous,honest patient and intelligent man. He never complained inspite of his 22 year battle with Parkinson's Disease. He was the best husband,son-in-law,father,grandfather and friend to all. He always took care of everyone's needs and would not ask for anything in return. He will be sadly missed by his family and all who knew and loved him.
